Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, is responsible for accomplishing the day to day licensed nursing care and related technical work in the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of mentally ill individuals. Under the direct supervision of Nursing Leadership, the Licensed Nurse ensures the safety of the milieu by evaluating medical stabilization, monitoring, assessment and reporting of client needs, crisis intervention, providing structured activities and support. Additional responsibilities include documentation related to daily care, reporting changes to physicians, and assisting with licensed nursing-related duties assigned. The Licensed Nurse will be monitored; under direct management supervision at all times and is responsible to follow through with tasks as trained and as assigned. The Licensed Nurse will be in continual conversation with supervisors regarding client medical care, behavioral stabilization as well as communicate regularly with other members of multidisciplinary team.
The Licensed Nurse position is expected to promote safe, clean, and healthy environment for facility clients. The Licensed Nurse may be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to dangerous equipment and must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, or moving of objects/materials and /or cleanup of materials. This position also requires physical capabilities to perform job duties, flexibility in schedule and ability to work in a variety of conditions and multiple environments.
The Licensed Nurse ensures compliance with department protocols, policies, guidelines, and facility standards. 85% of duties include direct client care.
$45/hr for PM/Weekend shifts (PRN)
