About this role

The Site Support Services Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the company’s strategy assigned to the ACE (Achieving Clinical Excellence) team. The ACE team is charged with leading the company’s new business transition activities and providing critical assessments of existing contracts when requested by operational leaders. Each Site Support Services Coordinator will have expertise in all areas of clinical delivery, be current on current company policies and prescribed practices. The Site Support Services Coordinator must be able to think critically about operational processes, perform gap analyses with best practices and correctly describe them in both written and verbal form. The Site Support Services Coordinator ACE will lead the implementation of the company’s tools, processes, and best practices to ensure operational success in the areas where they work.

What you bring to the table

Education

  • Associates Degree or higher in Nursing

Experience

  • Medical and / or Correctional industry knowledge/experience mandatory. 
  • 3-5 years of Site experience, or equivalent, preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• RN or LPN licensure required.
• Prefer Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) Certification.

What you will do

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the successful execution of Pre-Go-Live, Go-Live, and Post Go-Live phases of new business transitions.
  • Tailor standard of operations (SOP) and nursing responsibilities to specific sites during transitions. SOPs include but are not limited to Intake, Detox, Emergency Response, Medication Administration, Health Assessment, Chronic Care.
  • At existing sites provide transparent assessment of operations, identify gaps, and develop corrective action plans as identified by Division President & COO.
  • Responsible for conducting and communicating assessment results to Manager Site Support Services ACE and other operational leaders.
  • Be proficient and provide expertise in the company’s policies, procedures, and current best practice workflows.
  • Provide role-specific training to onsite staff during transitions to allow staff to understand and carry out required responsibilities as it relates to the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate and educate a culture of caring by implementing the company’s mission.
  • Champion current company practices utilizing the 5 Ps and 5 Hs to support the creation of a compliant and self-sufficient site.
  • Provide regular, written communications on Key Performance Indicators (KPI), statistics, facility, and important developments.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation of services and health care programs, proactively identifies potential problems, and assists in developing corrective action plans. Establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with client, custody, and medical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of the company and facility by maintaining organizational relationships with ACA and NCCHC.
  • Complete and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enter action plans into Salesforce after approval from Manager Site Support Services ACE with assigned responsibilities and delivery dates.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and performance of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Support philosophy, objective, and goals of the nursing program.
  • Accept assignments and performs other related duties as required or assigned by the Company.
  • Perform in accordance with the Nurse Practices Act and Nursing Code of Ethics.
  • Promote quality improvement standards by actively participating in the quality care screen audits.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
