About this role

Our Financial Operations Analyst will research, analyze, and monitor assigned aspects of Financial and Operational areas for The Company, and provide written and verbal guidance as necessary to assist management in making business decisions. Performs or assists with special projects as assigned.

What you bring to the table

Education:

  • Accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or business bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • 5+ years prior accounting/financial/data analysis
  • High proficiency with SQL language and Excel/Powerpoint

Licenses/Certifications:

  • None required

What you will do

  • Responsible for collaborating with Central Operations team to drive accountability of key initiatives and identify corrective action items to maximize financial and operational outcomes for site / division
  • Identify and recommend new ways to improve existing processes through cost reduction and/or increased efficiency
  • Gather, extract, analyze and model data using analytical and statistical tools to generate useful business reports that help depict trends and highlight opportunities for key stakeholders to improve operational and/or financial performance
  • Assist with monthly close, results reviews, and ad hoc projects as directed.
  • Create and maintain documentation including requirements analysis, process and data flow diagrams, operational procedures, and other related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate status for all owned projects in progress, own creation and delivery to clients on or by agreed upon frequency
  • Serves as auxiliary point of finance contact in the absence of primary respondents.
