About this role

Administrative Coordinator Hampstead Hospital will provide secretarial and informational support for the Executive Director, Operations Director, Nursing Administration, and various committees, as requested. This position is also tasked with problem solving, overseeing administrative office functions, and ensuring the efficiency and professional image of the department.

What you bring to the table

Education

  • Associated Degree or equivalent and/or Graduate of accredited executive secretarial school

Experience

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of Secretarial experience or an equivalent

What you will do

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains confidentiality on a range of sensitive information.
  • Schedules interviews and coordinate the hiring process under the direction of the Executive Director, Human Resources, and the management team.
  • Takes dictation, composes, types, and distributes all correspondence, minutes, and reports.
  • Performs hospital wide quality assurance chart audits as requested.
  • Coordinates data gathering, maintains clinical services data base to include CPR Certification, CPI Certification and State professional licensure.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, in-services, meetings, and workshops.
  • Works well independently and is self-directed.
  • Promotes the Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility (HHRTF) culture of patient safety in a non-punitive atmosphere, reports medical errors and significant events, participates in hospital safety training programs and Performance Improvement activities.
