About this role

Our Psychologist provides comprehensive assessment services to assist with the annual court evaluation process and the treatment team in designing and delivering treatment services. This position is an active member of the treatment team, providing staff education and consultation to treatment teams as needed on psychological issues.

What you bring to the table


  • A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited university.


  • Experience in a correctional and/or forensic environment highly desirable.


  • Licensed or ability to become licensed within one year of hire.

What you will do

  1. Conducts comprehensive evaluations to assist in sex offender treatment planning.
  2. Conducts testing to provide diagnostic clarity when indicated.
  3. Serves as a consultant to the multidisciplinary teams and Clinical Leadership.
  4. Member of the Clinical Program Development Committee
  5. Provides Annual Treatment Progress Reviews to the Courts.
  6. Supervises and trains psychology post-doctoral fellows, when appropriate.
  7. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
  8. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
  9. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
  10. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
