Overview

Our Federal Business Services Account Manager is the primary point of contact (POC) for clients and is directly responsible for the management of one or more FBOP contracts in regards to contract compliance and communication, facilitating scheduling, medical records, provider network development, claims management, resulting in strong client relationships.

Qualifications

Education:

  • College degree or related experience

Experience:

  • Five (5) years professional experience preferably in a medical or healthcare environment.
  • Must have outstanding Interpersonal communication (verbal & written) and telecommunication skills.
  • Responsible for multiple daily communications with Clinical Director, HSA, Health Records Assistant, hospitals and specialty physician providers.
  • Superior organizational skills required and must be able to aggressively utilize strong multi-tasking abilities to coordinate scheduling patient appointments and managing daily appointment calendar.
  • Computer proficiency with specific skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • ERMA schedule management and report utilization will be mandatory.
  • Should have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  1. Manages the Site FBOP Fax/Email box and provides consult requests by specialty type and urgency.

  2. Works directly with Federal Business Services Supervisor to facilitate timely and accurate scheduling and the procurement of medical records in order to insure contract compliance.

  3. Manages the client calendar of upcoming patient appointments and follow-ups received from Account Support personnel .

  4. Tracks, enters, and reviews ER trips and inpatient stays.

  5. Manage on-site services for each site-schedule clinics, obtains patient rosters, and facilitates provider payments.

  6. Assists management and finance with all client reporting including quarterly and annual obligations.

  7. Communicates new YREGs and closes exhausted obligations.

  8. Works with provider relations, claims, and customer service teams to resolve issues and manage service.

  9. Manages off-site IBNR reporting by tracking outstanding claims from unpaid off-site trips.

  10. Distributes client memos (SCA) and follows-up as needed.

  11. Prepares agenda and leads weekly/monthly client call.

  12. Manages schedule and report utilization, enters new patient profiles, and performs other related tasks in the The Company ERM application.

  13. Reconciles outstanding consults and medical records.

  14. Maintains site metrics and standardized reporting packages for client visits and conference calls.

  15. Develops and communicates revenue opportunities, additional services, and process changes.

  16. Communicates all issues which may have an impact on business and forecasted revenue.

  17. Communicates with client about emergent issues, invoicing concerns (including Single Case Agreement (SCA) Memos), and process improvements.

  18. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
  19. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
  20. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
  21. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
  22. Perform other duties as assigned.
